Service Opportunities at Hope Community Church
Elementary (K-5th) Teacher - 2-3 hours 1 time a month
Description: Bring the Bible lesson to life using stories, props, costumes music. A
fun, interactive way to communicate with the kids at Hope!

Pre-School Teachers - 2-3 hours 1 time a month
Description: Teaching the day's Bible lesson in a way that the little
ones can relate to. Great way to get to know the kids and make a difference
on a personal level! You will learn and grow as well.

Nursery Volunteer (infants through 3 years old) - 1 ½ hours1
time a month
Description: Arrive 15 minutes before the service, check children
in, communicate with parents, hold, rock, care for & play with
children during the service. Clean up afterwards; create a loving,
warm atmosphere.

Youth Small Group Mentor - 3-4 hours per week
Description: Join the youth group on Wednesday nights (6:20-8:00 p.m.) and
or
for special events. Interact with other mentors to select topics, prepare and
lead discussions with middle/high school students.

Small Group Leader - approx. 3 hours per week
Description:
Small group leaders facilitate discussions on a subject in the Bible
or book of the Bible of your choosing. The groups, usually 12-16 people, meet weekly or biweekly in three 12 week semesters. One hour of training is required prior to leading a group. Leaders are encouraged to facilitate two 12 week groups per year, teaching the same subject or a new one.

Small Group Host - approx. 3 hours per week
Description:
Small group Hosts provide a home in which a small group can meet. The
person or couple is also present to participate in the group meetings. Groups
(usually 12-16 people) meet weekly or biweekly for three 12 week semesters.
You can volunteer your home for one semester or all three.

Vacuum Team - 1 ½ hours every 4-6 weeks
Description:
You will be teamed up with one other person and each take a section
of the church to vacuum the carpets. The work can be done at your leisure during the week. This is a great “behind the scenes” way
to serve.

Welcome Team Greeter - 1 hour every 4-6 weeks
Description: Welcome our congregation and visitors as they
come in the door, create a friendly warm atmosphere. Introduce yourself
to visitors, answer
any questions they may have or direct them to someone who can.

Worship TeamDescription: If you are interested in singing or playing an instrument with the worship team please contact Dean Wertz at deanw@hopefordenver.com Dean will be in contact with you about meeting the worship team andevaluating a new role in the ministry. We would love to have as many musically gifted worshippers as we can for our Sunday service.
Prayer Ministry Partner -2 hours per week or biweekly
Description:
Sit in on prayer counseling session to observe and pray.
